Itinerary
Day 1: August 24 (Monday) - Rio de Janeiro/Petrolina (connection in Guarulhos)
Transfer from your residence to Galeão airport in Rio de Janeiro, at the time agreed upon by the Rosanetur team, heading to Petrolina PE. Flight GOL 1377/1354 (GIG X GRU X PNZ - 14:50 /00:30). We will stay at the elegant Hotel Nobile Suites Del Rio. Welcome to Petrolina, one of the most charming cities in the Northeast, on the banks of the majestic São Francisco River!
Day 2: August 25 (Tuesday) - Petrolina/ São Raimundo Nonato - Serra da Capivara
Breakfast. Free morning. After lunch, we will head towards São Raimundo Nonato, the gateway to the incredible Serra da Capivara National Park. We will stay at the brand new Hotel Serra Da Capivara. Dinner at the hotel included.
Day 3: August 26 (Wednesday) - São Raimundo Nonato
After breakfast, our first attraction will be the American Man Museum, where we will learn a bit about the historical and natural richness of the region.
American Man Museum – The Past Comes to Life
The renowned American Man Museum is one of the most important archaeological research centers in Brazil. Founded by archaeologist Niède Guidon, the museum houses an impressive collection of artifacts and fossils, telling the story of the continent's first inhabitants.
What will we find in the museum?
✅ Replicas of the rock paintings of Serra da Capivara
✅ Prehistoric tools used by ancient peoples
✅ Remains and traces of extinct megafauna animals
✅ Studies and theories about human occupation in America
Here, we will have direct contact with archaeological evidence that challenged traditional theories about the arrival of man in the Americas!
Next, we will visit the Nature Museum.
Nature Museum – A Journey Through Evolution
The Nature Museum is a modern and interactive attraction that takes us on a true journey through time. Recently inaugurated, this innovative museum features immersive exhibitions about the evolution of the Earth, the impact of climate change, and the biodiversity of the sertão over the ages.
Highlights of the Nature Museum:
✅ Rooms with 360º projections about the geological formation of Serra da Capivara
✅ Giant replicas of megafauna animals, such as the giant sloth and the saber-toothed tiger
✅ Interactive panels explaining the Caatinga biome and its current challenges
✅ The "meteor room," which simulates the impact of an asteroid on Earth
This museum is an incredible sensory experience and an opportunity to understand how the sertão has transformed over millions of years!
At the end of the visit, we will return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel included.
Day 4: August 27 (Thursday) - Serra da Capivara (Archaeological Sites and Pedra Furada)/ Petrolina
After breakfast, it's time to dive into Brazil's ancient history! We will visit the archaeological sites of Serra da Capivara, home to the oldest rock paintings in the Americas, with records dating back up to 50,000 years.
In addition to the archaeological richness, the park's scenery is breathtaking. The rock formations sculpted by time create unique landscapes, combining red sandstone cliffs, deep canyons, and typical Caatinga vegetation.
The contrast of the blue sky with the imposing rocks turns every stop into a visual spectacle.
Accompanied by specialized guides, we will get to know the famous Pedra Furada, one of the park's postcards.
After visiting the archaeological sites, we will make a special stop at the Serra da Capivara Ceramic Factory, a social and sustainable project that transforms rock art into unique ceramic pieces.
This factory was born from the initiative of the American Man Museum Foundation (FUMDHAM) and is primarily inspired by the rock paintings of Serra da Capivara.
Here, local residents produce beautiful pieces, such as plates, cups, and decorative panels, using artisanal techniques and local materials.
After lunch, we will continue our journey back to Petrolina with accommodation at the Hotel Nobile Suites Del Rio.
Day 5: August 28 (Friday) - Petrolina and Juazeiro (City tour)
After breakfast, we will depart for a guided city tour of Petrolina and Juazeiro, sister cities separated by the Velho Chico.
We will visit the main tourist attractions, including the Cathedral of Petrolina, the São Francisco River waterfront, the Craft Center, and the Fire Island.
In Juazeiro, we will explore the Popular Market and learn more about the culture and tradition of the region. Return to the hotel and free evening.
Day 6: August 29 (Saturday) - Petrolina (Wine Vapor Tour)
After breakfast, we will embark on a wine tourism itinerary known as the Wine Vapor, a delightful boat trip on the São Francisco River. The name "Wine Vapor" was chosen in reference to the old steamers that contributed to the development of the Brazilian Northeast, especially the São Francisco Valley.
Our tour starts in the city of Petrolina and then we sail to the Sobradinho Lake. On the boat, we will have live music, lunch, and a stop for swimming. Additionally, we will make a stop to visit the traditional Miolo winery, with sparkling wine tasting.
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Lunch included.
Day 7: August 30 (Sunday) - Petrolina/ Rio Sol Winery
After breakfast, we will have the pleasure of visiting the Rio Sol Winery, one of the region's highlights, where wine flourishes in the northeastern sertão thanks to the irrigation from the São Francisco River and an innovative production method.
Located on the banks of the Velho Chico, Rio Sol belongs to the Global Wines Group and is a reference in the production of wines and sparkling wines in the Northeast. Unlike traditional wineries in southern Brazil, here the semi-arid climate allows for up to two harvests a year, making this one of the few regions in the world with this phenomenon. Lunch included.
Day 8: August 31 (Monday) - Petrolina/ Rio de Janeiro
At the agreed time, early in the morning, we will leave the hotel and head to Petrolina airport (Senador Nilo Coelho). Flight GOL 1355/1374 (PNZ X GRU X GIG - 05:05/10:25). We hope your trip has been unforgettable! Until next time!

Cancellations, Transfers, and Customer Cancellations
The CONTRACTED PARTY will reimburse the Contractor the amount due, calculated on the total actually received by the Contracted Party, excluding the amount of the commission retained, which should be dealt with the Travel Agent, as well as administrative fees and amounts already paid to suppliers.
In the occurrence of any of the mentioned hypotheses, the following administrative fees will be deducted from the total amount charged for the tourist package, in the following proportion:
- When the cancellation occurs 30 (thirty) days or more before the departure date of the trip: 10% (ten percent)
- When the cancellation occurs 29 (twenty-nine) to 21 (twenty-one) days before the departure date of the trip: 15% (fifteen percent)
- When the cancellation occurs 20 (twenty) to 1 (one) day before the departure date of the trip: 30% (thirty percent)
- If the passenger does not show up at the time and place set for the start of the trip, 35% (thirty-five percent) will be charged
In addition to the fees and penalties described above, amounts already paid to suppliers for securing reservations, duly proven, will be deducted as expenses, since the Contracted Party is only an intermediary in the hiring of tourist services, holding the received amounts temporarily, as it depends on third parties for the effective execution of these services, such as air, maritime, and road transport, as well as accommodation, reception, restaurants, and other contracted services.
For both road and air excursions, date transfers or refunds for unused segments will not be allowed.
Trip abandonment - Once the excursion has started, the passenger who abandons it for any reason will not be entitled to any refund for paid and unused services.

We provide the transfer service at the residence, as a courtesy, for the following neighborhoods in Niterói (not being high-risk areas): Centro and surroundings, Icaraí, Boa Viagem, Ingá, Gragoatá, São Domingos, Ponta d'Areia, Fonseca, Ilha da Conceição, Barreto, São Lourenço, Santa Rosa, Vital Brasil, São Francisco, Charitas, Fátima, Cafubá, Santo Antônio, Piratininga, Camboinhas, Itaipu, Itacoatiara, and Itaipuaçu. For other neighborhoods, the meeting point for the excursion will be at Cine Icaraí. (SEE RULES BELOW)
Residents of São Gonçalo
We provide the transfer service at the residence, as a courtesy, for the following neighborhoods in São Gonçalo (not being high-risk areas): Centro and surroundings, Galo Branco, Paraíso, and Neves. For other neighborhoods, the meeting point for the excursion will be at Cine Icaraí (in Niterói). (SEE RULES BELOW)
Residents of Caxias
We provide the transfer service at the residence, as a courtesy, for the following neighborhoods in Caxias (not being high-risk areas): Centro and surroundings, Jardim 25 de Agosto. For other neighborhoods, the meeting point for the excursion will be at Gilson Pneus in Irajá. (SEE RULES BELOW)
Other Municipalities
Residents of other municipalities must contact us to find an appropriate meeting point. (SEE RULES BELOW)
IMPORTANT RULES FOR THE TRANSFER SERVICE:
- The transfer service is a courtesy from Rosanetur. We reserve the right to refuse to execute the service when it poses a risk to our team, such as difficult access locations, areas known to be dominated by trafficking, or with high risk, among others.
- The transfer service is shared, meaning other people will share the transport with you.
- Changes in the passenger's address must be informed to our team at least 7 days in advance of the excursion date. Sudden changes in the address make it impossible to execute the service due to the entire schedule of drivers already being organized.
- In our road excursions, the transfer is provided both to and from the destination. In air excursions, only the outbound transfer is provided.
- We inform the time and the driver who will carry out the transfer 3 days in advance of the trip.

Boarding
The CONTRACTOR/PASSENGER is aware that they must comply with all the schedule indications provided to them, being responsible for any delays and their consequences. They must present themselves for boarding carrying their original personal documents with a photo and identify themselves to the ROSANETUR representative who will be present at the time.
Documentation
For national trips using air and/or road transport, it is necessary to present an original identification document in good condition (Any of the following: Identity Card; National Passport; National Driver's License (photo model); Professional Cards issued by National Councils (photo models); Work Card). The presentation of the passenger without the referred documentation, or if it is illegible and/or altered, will result in non-boarding.
Boarding of Minors: For boarding on national trips for minors under 16 years old (incomplete) (Law No. 13.812/2019), it is necessary that they be accompanied by one of the parents or grandparents, or a guardian, or, still, by an older sibling or uncle over 18 years old, always proving the degree of kinship documentarily (through the Original Birth Certificate or Authenticated Copy of the minor). In the event of being accompanied by an adult without the degree of kinship described above, written authorization, with notarized signature, from the father or mother, or the guardian, is required. However, if unaccompanied, judicial authorization from the Childhood and Youth Court will be necessary, all in accordance with articles 83 to 85 of the Child and Adolescent Statute - Law No. 8.069/90. The passenger can obtain more information about the required documentation from the Federal Police (www.dpf.gov.br).
Important: Birth certificates will not be accepted for those over 12 years old. In cases of theft, robbery, or loss of the identification document, the police report issued less than 60 days ago is valid.
Accommodation of Minors: For the accommodation of children (under 12 years) or adolescents (under 18 years), it is necessary to be accompanied by a person mentioned in the paragraph above, unless expressly AUTHORIZED to stay, by the parents or guardian, in writing and with notarized signature, all in accordance with article 82 of the Child and Adolescent Statute - Law No. 8.069/90.
