Introduction
One of the favorite destinations for lovers of fine wines and national sparkling wines, the region of Bento Gonçalves and its surroundings blend attractions that go beyond the wineries.
The tourist program includes museums, churches, historic houses, wineries, and the traditional and popular Grape Harvest with Grape Stomping that takes place from January to March.
In our itinerary, we will visit the Vale dos Vinhedos, Caminhos de Pedra (with a visit to Casa da Ovelha and some century-old wineries), as well as various wineries in the region and the famous Wine Train ride (ride on the Maria Fumaça locomotive).
Additionally, we will participate in a true celebration that is the Grape Harvest and Grape Stomping at a special winery! Come with us to participate in this incredible journey into the world of Wine Tourism.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: February 5 (Friday) - Rio de Janeiro/ Bento Gonçalves
Transfer from your residence (SEE RULES) to the international airport of Galeão, at the time agreed upon by the Rosanetur team, heading to Porto Alegre airport. Flight GOL 2086 (GIG/POA 09:30 – 11:40). From the airport, we will proceed to accommodation at Hotel Laghetto Viverone in Bento Gonçalves. Free evening.
Day 2: February 6 (Saturday) - Bento Gonçalves/ Garibaldi/ Carlos Barbosa
After breakfast, we will begin our immersion in Italian culture by visiting the Epopeia Italiana Cultural Park. There, we will watch a show with nine life-sized scenes depicting the story of the couple Lazaro and Rosa, Italian immigrants who faced numerous difficulties upon arriving in Brazil and, after much effort, managed to prosper in the southern lands.
After lunch, we will continue our day with a wonderful ride on the Wine Train, also known as the Grape Train or simply Maria Fumaça. The Maria Fumaça ride is a major attraction in the Serra Gaúcha.
During the ride, there are performances by a typical Italian choir, with a tarantella show, theater, and improvisational poetry. In Garibaldi, there is a reception with gaucho and Italian music, as well as tasting sparkling wine and grape juice.
Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Lunch included. Free evening.
Day 3: February 7 (Sunday) - Bento Gonçalves/ Vale do Rio das Antas (Grape Harvest and Grape Stomping)
After breakfast, we will depart towards the Vale do Rio das Antas, a place of extreme beauty surrounded by lush scenery. In addition to the magnificent view, the place is home to charms in its inns, wineries, restaurants, and distilleries that tell different aspects of Italian immigration and bring man closer to nature.
We will visit a traditional winery in the region, where the grape harvest and stomping will take place, accompanied by “merendim” (typical Italian snack, with cheeses, salami, polenta, cucas, grape juice, and wines) under the vines, to the sound of Italian songs sung and played by the local nonas, perfectly dressed in period attire.
Prepare your basket to collect as many grapes as you can and then perform the Grape Stomping!
Next, we will visit the century-old Vinícola Salton, considered the largest winemaking complex in the Americas. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Lunch included.
Day 4: February 8 (Monday) - Bento Gonçalves/ Vale dos Vinhedos
Departure after breakfast for a day dedicated to the Vale dos Vinhedos, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and the best wineries in Brazil.
Our first stop will be at the Casa Valduga winery, where we can walk among the vineyards, learn about the process of making wines and sparkling wines, learn about tasting, and discover the history of Valduga.
We will also visit the Vinícola Cave de Pedra (retail and photos) which is housed in a castle built of basalt stone, favoring the constant maintenance of mild temperatures, necessary for the maturation of wines and sparkling wines. 
Time for photos and wine purchases. Return to the hotel after lunch. Lunch included.
Day 5: February 9 (Tuesday) - Bento Gonçalves/ Caminhos de Pedra
S
et off after breakfast for our tour of the “Caminhos de Pedra.” This is a tourist route that crosses stunning landscapes and aims to preserve the culture, habits, and customs of the Italian immigrants who settled there since the beginning of the century.
Our first stop will be at Casa da Ovelha (entrance included) to experience the routine of a typical sheep farm in an unforgettable experience, with sheep herding by Border Collie dogs, feeding the sheep with feed, and, at the end, a tasting of cheeses made from sheep's milk.
After lunch, we will visit the Traditional Strapazzon Winery (entrance included), built of stone around 1880 and which, due to its characteristics and beauty, served as a backdrop for the film “O Quatrilho,” as well as several soap operas. In this place, it is possible to contemplate the vineyards, understand the wine-making process, taste, and purchase products.
Next, we will visit the Casa da Erva-mate, where the entire artisanal production process of Erva-mate, so appreciated in the south, is displayed. The place also has a store and tasting of chimarrão. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Lunch included. In the evening, there will be a group gathering to celebrate the month's birthdays.
Day 6: February 10 (Wednesday) - Bento Gonçalves/ Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, at the agreed time, we will head to Porto Alegre airport bound for Galeão airport in Rio de Janeiro. Flight GOL 2091 (POA/GIG 19:40 - 21:35). On the way, depending on the flight time, we will make a quick stop in Caxias do Sul.
We will visit the São Pelegrino Church, one of the main churches in Caxias do Sul.
NOTE: If there is a change in our flight time by the airline, this stop in Caxias do Sul may be canceled. We wish everyone a great return. See you soon, everyone!

Cancellations, Transfers, and Customer Cancellations
The CONTRACTED PARTY will reimburse the Contractor the amount due, calculated on the total actually received by the Contracted Party, excluding the amount of the commission retained, which should be dealt with the Travel Agent, as well as administrative fees and amounts already paid to suppliers.
In the occurrence of any of the mentioned hypotheses, the following administrative fees will be deducted from the total amount charged for the tourist package, in the following proportion:
- When the cancellation occurs 30 (thirty) days or more before the departure date of the trip: 10% (ten percent)
- When the cancellation occurs 29 (twenty-nine) to 21 (twenty-one) days before the departure date of the trip: 15% (fifteen percent)
- When the cancellation occurs 20 (twenty) to 1 (one) day before the departure date of the trip: 30% (thirty percent)
- If the passenger does not show up at the time and place set for the start of the trip, 35% (thirty-five percent) will be charged
In addition to the fees and penalties described above, amounts already paid to suppliers for securing reservations, duly proven, will be deducted as expenses, since the Contracted Party is only an intermediary in the hiring of tourist services, holding the received amounts temporarily, as it depends on third parties for the effective execution of these services, such as air, maritime, and road transport, as well as accommodation, reception, restaurants, and other contracted services.
For both road and air excursions, date transfers or refunds for unused segments will not be allowed.
Trip abandonment - Once the excursion has started, the passenger who abandons it for any reason will not be entitled to any refund for paid and unused services.

Residents of Caxias
We provide the transfer service at the residence, as a courtesy, for the following neighborhoods in Caxias (not being high-risk areas): Centro and surroundings, Jardim 25 de Agosto. For other neighborhoods, the meeting point for the excursion will be at Gilson Pneus in Irajá. (SEE RULES BELOW)
Other Municipalities
Residents of other municipalities must contact us to find an appropriate meeting point. (SEE RULES BELOW)
IMPORTANT RULES FOR THE TRANSFER SERVICE:
- The transfer service is a courtesy from Rosanetur. We reserve the right to refuse to execute the service when it poses a risk to our team, such as difficult access locations, areas known to be dominated by trafficking, or with high risk, among others.
- The transfer service is shared, meaning other people will share the transport with you.
- Changes in the passenger's address must be informed to our team at least 7 days in advance of the excursion date. Sudden changes in the address make it impossible to execute the service due to the entire schedule of drivers already being organized.
- In our road excursions, the transfer is provided both to and from the destination. In air excursions, only the outbound transfer is provided.
- We inform the time and the driver who will carry out the transfer 3 days in advance of the trip.

Boarding
The CONTRACTOR/PASSENGER is aware that they must comply with all the schedule indications provided to them, being responsible for any delays and their consequences. They must present themselves for boarding carrying their original personal documents with a photo and identify themselves to the ROSANETUR representative who will be present at the time.
Documentation
For national trips using air and/or road transport, it is necessary to present an original identification document in good condition (Any of the following: Identity Card; National Passport; National Driver's License (photo model); Professional Cards issued by National Councils (photo models); Work Card). The presentation of the passenger without the referred documentation, or if it is illegible and/or altered, will result in non-boarding.
Boarding of Minors: For boarding on national trips for minors under 16 years old (incomplete) (Law No. 13.812/2019), it is necessary that they be accompanied by one of the parents or grandparents, or a guardian, or, still, by an older sibling or uncle over 18 years old, always proving the degree of kinship documentarily (through the Original Birth Certificate or Authenticated Copy of the minor). In the event of being accompanied by an adult without the degree of kinship described above, written authorization, with notarized signature, from the father or mother, or the guardian, is required. However, if unaccompanied, judicial authorization from the Childhood and Youth Court will be necessary, all in accordance with articles 83 to 85 of the Child and Adolescent Statute - Law No. 8.069/90. The passenger can obtain more information about the required documentation from the Federal Police (www.dpf.gov.br).
Important: Birth certificates will not be accepted for those over 12 years old. In cases of theft, robbery, or loss of the identification document, the police report issued less than 60 days ago is valid.
Accommodation of Minors: For the accommodation of children (under 12 years) or adolescents (under 18 years), it is necessary to be accompanied by a person mentioned in the paragraph above, unless expressly AUTHORIZED to stay, by the parents or guardian, in writing and with notarized signature, all in accordance with article 82 of the Child and Adolescent Statute - Law No. 8.069/90.
We provide here the link to the Portal of the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro containing the model of the Travel Authorization for a Child accompanied by an Adult. We also provide here the model of the Authorization for Accommodation of Minors.
