Introduction
When winter arrives, the small São Joaquim makes headlines in newspapers across the country. At 1,353 meters above sea level, it records temperatures that can reach ten degrees below zero - along with the cold, snow usually comes, and with the little white flakes, tourists. To face the cold, bring gloves, scarves, and chat around the fireplace or wood stove.
Wine glasses are also welcome; the city has numerous award-winning wineries both nationally and internationally. During guided tours at the wineries, the stages of wine production are explained, and there is tasting of the beverages produced on-site.
Thanks to the climate, São Joaquim is also known as the producer of the best apple in Brazil. Just leave the center to see the large Fuji and Gala plantations that dominate the landscape. São Joaquim is also a strategic point for visiting two more incredible cities: Urubici and Bom Jardim da Serra.
In 1996, Urubici recorded the lowest temperature in the country: 17.8 degrees below zero, at Morro da Igreja, 1,828 meters above sea level. The likelihood of snow between June and August is high, attracting tourists from all over the country.
In Bom Jardim da Serra (known as the "Capital of Waters"), the breathtaking view is due to the Famous Serra do Rio do Rastro, considered the Most Beautiful Mountain Range in Brazil and one of the Most Spectacular Roads in the World!
NOTE 1: It is necessary to say that the occurrence of the meteorological phenomenon of snow, although possible, is a rare event. Therefore, we may be lucky enough to witness this phenomenon or not see any snow at all, thus exempting Rosanetur from the occurrence or non-occurrence of the phenomenon.
NOTE 2: In Urubici, access to Morro da Igreja is controlled by the Aeronautics. Our visit to the attraction depends on authorization, weather conditions, and the road leading to the viewpoint of Morro da Igreja. In case of necessary roadworks, adverse weather conditions (e.g., snow, ice formation on the road, extreme winds), or other factors that put visitors' safety at risk, VISITATION MAY BE LIMITED OR INTERRUPTED WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.
NOTE 3: To visualize all the beauty of the Mirante da Serra do Rio do Rastro, it is necessary for the weather to be completely clear, without fog. Depending on the weather conditions and the highway, we will descend the mountain to a certain point where we will then return.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: August 11 (Tuesday) - Rio de Janeiro (Galeão)/ Florianópolis/ São Joaquim SC
Transfer from your residence (SEE RULES) to Galeão airport, at the time agreed upon by the Rosanetur team, heading to Florianópolis. Flight GOL 1982 (GIG/FLN 08h20-10h00). From the airport, we will continue by tourist bus to the coldest city in Brazil, São Joaquim, in the Serra Catarinense! Prepare your jackets, gloves, and scarves to enjoy the chilly weather of the mountains! Accommodation at São Joaquim Park Hotel, in the center of São Joaquim. Free afternoon. Dinner included.
Day 2: August 12 (Wednesday) - São Joaquim SC
After breakfast, we will depart for our tour in São Joaquim. We will start the day by visiting the Vinícola Villa Francione. The dream of the founder, Dilor de Freitas, materialized in an admirable building.
The walls, built with remnants of ruins from houses in the region, and the stained glass windows, brought from Uruguay, protect a sustainable wine factory, some of which are award-winning. The guided tour begins with a video that tells the history of the place, followed by a tour of the property and ending with a tasting class.
From there, we will head to Exponeve Artesanatos, a permanent fair of handicrafts and typical products from the region, maintained by the Association of Artisans of São Joaquim. There, it is possible to buy wool clothing, accessories like gloves and hats, decorative objects, sweets and beverages, and much more.
After lunch, we will visit the Sanjo Cooperative store. Founded in 1993, the Sanjo Agricultural Cooperative of São Joaquim is one of the largest producers of apples in Brazil. The factory store has juices, wines, and even apple sparkling wines available for purchase. Return to the hotel. Dinner included.
Day 3: August 13 (Thursday) - São Joaquim/ Bom Jardim da Serra/ Mirante Serra do Rio do Rastro/ São Joaquim
After breakfast, we will depart for our tour to the city of Bom Jardim da Serra. One of the most beautiful landscapes in Santa Catarina is located in the small town of just over four thousand inhabitants. It is the Serra do Rio do Rastro, cut by a winding road (SC-390) of 15 kilometers and sprinkled with viewpoints, leading to Lauro Muller. The altitude reaches 1,460 meters and, on clear sky days, unveils mountain ranges, valleys, and even the sea!
On our tour, we will start with a brief stop at the main square of the city, with the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. From there, we will make a stop for a photo at the beautiful Cascata da Barrinha, next to the portal of Bom Jardim da Serra.
Then, if the weather permits, we will witness the full grandeur of the Serra do Rio do Rastro from its viewpoint. Time for photos!
Depending on the weather conditions and the highway, we will descend the mountain to a certain point where we will then return. Next, we will visit Serra Park with a view of the breathtaking Cânion da Ronda. Return to the hotel at the end of the day. In the evening, we will have our celebration for the month's birthday celebrants. Lunch and Dinner included.
Day 4: August 14 (Friday) - São Joaquim/ Urubici/ São Joaquim SC
After breakfast, we will depart for our tour to Urubici, one of the most coveted destinations in the Serra Catarinense. In 1996, the city recorded the lowest temperature in the country: 17.8 degrees below zero, at Morro da Igreja, 1,828 meters above sea level. The likelihood of snow between June and August is high, attracting tourists from all over the country.
In Urubici, we will make a quick stop in the center, visiting the Matriz Church of Our Lady Mother of Men and the main square of the city. From there, we will head to Morro da Igreja, with its famous holey stone. (The visit to Morro da Igreja depends on authorization from the competent authorities and may not be carried out).
We will also visit the Gruta Nossa Sra de Lourdes, the Cascata Véu da Noiva, and Morro do Avencal, with its beautiful waterfall. Return to the hotel at the end of the day. Lunch included. Free evening.
Day 5: August 15 (Saturday) - São Joaquim/ Florianópolis
After breakfast, we will continue our return trip to Florianópolis. Accommodation at Hotel Majestic (or similar) in Florianópolis. Free afternoon and evening.
Day 6: August 16 (Sunday) - Florianópolis/ Rio de Janeiro (Galeão)
Breakfast. At the agreed time, we will head to the international airport of Florianópolis. Flight GOL 1985 (FLN/GIG 15h00 – 16h30). Excellent return to all! Until next time!

Cancellations, Transfers, and Customer Cancellations
The CONTRACTED PARTY will reimburse the Contractor the amount due, calculated on the total actually received by the Contracted Party, excluding the amount of the commission retained, which should be dealt with the Travel Agent, as well as administrative fees and amounts already paid to suppliers.
In the occurrence of any of the mentioned hypotheses, the following administrative fees will be deducted from the total amount charged for the tourist package, in the following proportion:
- When the cancellation occurs 30 (thirty) days or more before the departure date of the trip: 10% (ten percent)
- When the cancellation occurs 29 (twenty-nine) to 21 (twenty-one) days before the departure date of the trip: 15% (fifteen percent)
- When the cancellation occurs 20 (twenty) to 1 (one) day before the departure date of the trip: 30% (thirty percent)
- If the passenger does not show up at the time and place set for the start of the trip, 35% (thirty-five percent) will be charged
In addition to the fees and penalties described above, amounts already paid to suppliers for securing reservations, duly proven, will be deducted as expenses, since the Contracted Party is only an intermediary in the hiring of tourist services, holding the received amounts temporarily, as it depends on third parties for the effective execution of these services, such as air, maritime, and road transport, as well as accommodation, reception, restaurants, and other contracted services.
For both road and air excursions, date transfers or refunds for unused segments will not be allowed.
Trip abandonment - Once the excursion has started, the passenger who abandons it for any reason will not be entitled to any refund for paid and unused services.

We provide the transfer service at the residence, as a courtesy, for the following neighborhoods in Caxias (not being high-risk areas): Centro and surroundings, Jardim 25 de Agosto. For other neighborhoods, the meeting point for the excursion will be at Gilson Pneus in Irajá. (SEE RULES BELOW)
Other Municipalities

IMPORTANT RULES FOR THE TRANSFER SERVICE:
- The transfer service is a courtesy from Rosanetur. We reserve the right to refuse to execute the service when it poses a risk to our team, such as difficult access locations, areas known to be dominated by trafficking, or with high risk, among others.
- The transfer service is shared, meaning other people will share the transport with you.
- Changes in the passenger's address must be informed to our team at least 7 days in advance of the excursion date. Sudden changes in the address make it impossible to execute the service due to the entire schedule of drivers already being organized.
- In our road excursions, the transfer is provided both to and from the destination. In air excursions, only the outbound transfer is provided.
- We inform the time and the driver who will carry out the transfer 3 days in advance of the trip.

Boarding
The CONTRACTOR/PASSENGER is aware that they must comply with all the schedule indications provided to them, being responsible for any delays and their consequences. They must present themselves for boarding carrying their original personal documents with a photo and identify themselves to the ROSANETUR representative who will be present at the time.
Documentation
For national trips using air and/or road transport, it is necessary to present an original identification document in good condition (Any of the following: Identity Card; National Passport; National Driver's License (photo model); Professional Cards issued by National Councils (photo models); Work Card). The presentation of the passenger without the referred documentation, or if it is illegible and/or altered, will result in non-boarding.
Boarding of Minors: For boarding on national trips for minors under 16 years old (incomplete) (Law No. 13.812/2019), it is necessary that they be accompanied by one of the parents or grandparents, or a guardian, or, still, by an older sibling or uncle over 18 years old, always proving the degree of kinship documentarily (through the Original Birth Certificate or Authenticated Copy of the minor). In the event of being accompanied by an adult without the degree of kinship described above, written authorization, with notarized signature, from the father or mother, or the guardian, is required. However, if unaccompanied, judicial authorization from the Childhood and Youth Court will be necessary, all in accordance with articles 83 to 85 of the Child and Adolescent Statute - Law No. 8.069/90. The passenger can obtain more information about the required documentation from the Federal Police (www.dpf.gov.br).
Important: Birth certificates will not be accepted for those over 12 years old. In cases of theft, robbery, or loss of the identification document, the police report issued less than 60 days ago is valid.
Accommodation of Minors: For the accommodation of children (under 12 years) or adolescents (under 18 years), it is necessary to be accompanied by a person mentioned in the paragraph above, unless expressly AUTHORIZED to stay, by the parents or guardian, in writing and with notarized signature, all in accordance with article 82 of the Child and Adolescent Statute - Law No. 8.069/90.
